Australia: Baywa r.e. build their largest solar farm of 112 MW outside Mildura, Victoria
BayWa r.e. fielded a transaction team headed by managing director Daniel Gäfke, project manager Krish Karimbil and legal counsel Jaime Casanova. Pegasus Legal, led by director Gerald Arends, advised BayWa r.e. during the EPC negotiations. BEON were advised by their internal team led by the senior corporate solicitor Tony Kampus.
The Karadoc solar farm will be sufficient to power approximately 110,000 homes and have a positive impact on the local economy and the Victorian electricity market. The Karadoc solar farm and its sister project Yatpool Sun Farm are working through the stages to begin operation by the end of 2018.
